Erskine Bench and Fountain Restoration
The Erskine Fountain Fund is an advocacy group of organizations and citizens whose mission is to restore and preserve the Erskine Memorial Fountain located in Grant Park as well as the surrounding site for the enjoyment and pleasure of Atlanta's citizens and visitors.
As a member of the Erskine Fountain Fund, the Atlanta Preservation Center is currently partnering with M.H. Mitchell, the Grant Park Conservency, the Grant Park Neighborhood Association and local citizens in an effort to restore and preserve this monument.
On April 18th, 2015, the Atlanta Preservation Center hosted the inagural fundraiser for the Erskine Fountain Fund at the L.P. Grant Mansion. The night was a great success with over 140 people in attendance and $13,788 raisied for the fountain's restoration.
