Advocacy Coalition
The Advocacy Coalition serves as the organization's eyes and ears for endangered sites.
Comprised of volunteers with experience in architecture, preservation, real estate and other areas, the group meets to address threats both potential and ongoing to Atlanta’s historic buildings, neighborhoods and landscapes. Interested persons are welcome to attend.
In addition to supporting the advocacy work of the APC, the Coalition contributes to our Most Endangered Historic Places List. This list highlights important historic buildings, districts and landscapes that are endangered due to threat of demolition, poor condition, neglect, alterations, poor maintenance, redevelopment pressures, governmental policies and regulations or lack of funds.
Meetings of the Advocacy Coalition are held at the APC offices, the Lemuel Pratt Grant Mansion at 327 St. Paul Avenue.
