Endangered, Once Endangered & Lost

Many historic places throughout the City are endangered. APC's Advocacy Coalition manages this list to highlight important historic buildings, districts and landscapes that are in danger due to threat of demolition, poor condition, neglect, alterations, poor maintenance, redevelopment pressures, governmental policies and regulations or lack of funds.

Preservation Progress

Advocacy for the sites listed on this page has been succesful. Once considered threatened, they were advocated for by placing them on APC's Most Endangered Hisotric Places List. They now continue as valuable assets to Atlanta.

Places Lost

The properties listed on this page were advocated for via the Atlanta preservation Center's Most Endangered Historic Places List. Unfortunately, they were not able to be saved from demolition
