Many historic places throughout the city are endangered. APC manages this list to highlight important historic buildings, districts and landscapes that are in danger due to threat of demolition, poor condition, neglect, alterations, poor maintenance, redevelopment pressures, governmental policies and regulations or lack of funds. The endangered list is intended to provide a wide exposure for the value and plight of these historic resources, in the hope that interested parties within the community can come together to provide concepts and solutions which will return these assets to a vital use while preserving their historic character.
All of the places highlighted by this list are or were significant assets that are or were in need of the community’s attention. Every effort is made to give accurate information about the places on this list.
This list was first produced by the APC in 2001. Please note that this area of the website is undergoing major updating and programming changes. Your patience is appreciated. Following is an alpha listing of all sites that have been placed on the list.
